We would like to thank everyone that volunteers, participates, donates, buys animals, leads 4-H groups and offers countless other contributions!
The 2014 Friend of the Fair Award was given to Clifford Crossley for his many years of service. Clifford had been a huge part of the Washington County Fair until he retired in 2013. Because of people like Clifford our Fair continues to grow and prosper!
Along with Clifford, we would also like to thank the following for their help in making our fair such a GREAT SUCCESS!
Washington County Road and Bridge – The Lions Club of Midvale – Craig Excavation – Victor Craig – Seth Mathews – Middle Valley Construction – Donors – Buyers
All our GREAT Superintendents – Judges – County Commissioners and many more.
Special Thank You to R&M Steel Company….
R&M Steel Company is donating a 30’ x 40’ metal building for the Small Animals. This was a great surprise for everyone involved! The Small Animal Barn, along with Swine Wash Rack improvement project is planned to be completed in the Spring of 2016.
Here are other items “In The Works”
The grass arena is filling in and the trees are small, but growing! We are working with the Cambridge Rodeo Association to fix some power distribution issues and addressing handicapped accessibility on the Fairgrounds and Rodeo Grounds. It would be wonderful to incorporate new areas of cement, asphalt, grass and trees; as well as some sitting areas.
The Washington County Fair Board and Washington County Extension Office, hopes you’ll contact us if you see a need or can fill a need!
ENJOY THE FAIR!
